Spooky Castle problem

Is there any way to get past that 'Couldn't initialize sound' fatal error if you don't have a sound card? I'm stuck on this crappy computer :(

Not in Spooky Castle, I would wager... I think Supreme and other more recent things might handle a lack of sound hardware more gracefully.
