Your posts are probably being deleted for being too spammy or something. What arrow character?

EDIT: This one? ^

I'm sure they aren't spammy. Y'Know that "fun..." topic in GB?
I said it was to belong in TM and that post vanished.

I've seen several people post Self-explanertry topics and for post body they type /\ except as one charactor. Like > turned sideways.

What you did is considered "pseudomodding". Pseudomodding is if you tell other people that their post wasn't made in the right forum, is spam, is against the rules or whatever (in other words: act like a mod/admin) without being an admin or moderator (in that particular subforum). If you think it's really important that that particular post gets moved or deleted, report that to an admin (read: Jamul) or mod.
The arrow (^) should be on your keyboard somehwere, but you will have to press the key twice and then delete one of the 2 arrows appearing.

EDIT: If it isn't on your keyboard, click the Start button and go to Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map, click on the arrow, click "select" and then "copy" and paste it into the post.

"Pseudo" means "false" or "fake"; replace it with "not really" to get a similar meaning. Pronounce the PSEU like SOO.
