Rebirth of the One and only SPAM thread!

Apparently, not often enough posts led to the demise of the one and only spam thread and i liked it! It is now ressurected! MWAHAHAHA! Anyways... i will list rules for things that will be deleted by Hammered so that there will be less spam editing involved

1. There will be no quoting people to more than 1 post back. Like quoting someone who quoted someone who quoted someone...etc. more than once.
2. Don't post in binary.
3. Jamul doesn't like 7eet sp33k (leet speak), so you shouldn't do that either.
4. Posting links to sites with nothing whatsoever but spam is not allowed in this thread.
5. Don't bmup, just post something hilarious instead. Like "next time, put your shoes on AFTER your socks! You know what happened last time...". And please don't type the same thing over and over if the topic is almost dead or it will be considered bumping. For instance saying the same thing as someone else said with or without a quote unless you actually mean it or you are adding an actual comment to it.

I don't like spam, but I do think that it's kind of cool that the Hamumu forum has an official "Prince of Spam". However, that has the negative effect of putting an annoying Spam thread in our precious Total Mahem forum. I think that instead of resurrecting the Spam thread, we should...

come up with an entirely new, more useful position, like the "Prince of Complimenting Random People" or the "Prince of Lobbying to get a Hamumu article put in Wikipedia" or maybe the "Prince of Thinking up Intelligent Jokes" or "Prince of telling me What the Secret Moves are in Hitsuji" (http://hamumu.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5873)

...We'll think of something.

Mainly the reason i want the one and only spam thread reborn was that it was such a sucess! (i loved it! i used to check it every so often to see what hilarious spam people could come up with!) It would help it you vote within the next 60 days to determine whether or not this thread should go on. :)

Actually, internet spam got its name from the Monty Python sketch. The web spam we see today is repeated just as much as spam is in the Spam sketch.
SPAM (the meat product) was used in the Monty Python sketch because the British was sick of it. The company that makes the SPAM meat products never liked spam being used as a term for Stupid, Pointless, Annoying Messages on the web, but they were big fans of Monty Python.
