I have no idea. I have a feeling it has a lot to do with the quote in the background but, I'm stumped... Help?

the quote in the back doesn't have anything to do with solving it, but it does hint at the solution (as most of them do). personally, i thought those squares all had one spot too much white in them for the puzzle to make sense.

I'm trying to figure out if you left a subliminal hint for me in your post but I can't seem to find it. I tried inverting the colors on the squares but that didn't seem to work, putting them side by side didn't seem to work either. I'm still stumped...

the colors are fine. there's just a little too much of them. the answer couldn't be "zebra".

I don't know how the boxes are connected to the answer. The picture gave it away for me.

I solved exactly the same way as crassycatz. I still have no idea what this puzzle is about.

I got the answer from PurpleKoopa2000's post in like half a second. But then I went back and looked at cvermett's post and it suddenly made sense, it probably won't make sense unless you solve the puzzle first. Put it this way though: the white is more important than the black. Figure out the dimensions of those 5 boxes and add 1. I may have already said too much.

I solved it with just the background clue. I still have no idea what the boxes have to do with it.

Ahhhh... yeah, like most people I got it from the background... then I worked out what the boxes meant. Think about it. The position of the white squares isn't important... and cvermett's first clue is a little misleading. Sure, if you were trying to write something else, like.... yeah, zebra (NICE SECOND CLUE! I just got it!), it'd be impossible.

Yeah Fire,
I'm with you. I didn't even look at the boxes to be honest. I just followed my first instinct and it was correct. (That's the only puzzle where that happened, too...)

I also solved this from the quote. Then I figured out the boxes afterwards. I guess the ability to count is sort of important here.

I would agree with you fully. Who'd expect to have to do cryptography on graphics?
