I was wondering what other people's favorite puzzles were, especially jamul's.

I just solved "#014: More Codes" and off the top of my head, its by far my favorite one. It's a difficult but fair and clever puzzle.

I haven't solved that one so I don't know, but I do like "Got Your Number" and "Crossed Words". They're both quite clever takes on more conventional puzzles.

I have to confess that Crossed Words is practically an exact copy of something from a puzzle book I recently got (only difference being what you have to do after solving the first part... and the fact that I skipped instructions, adding to the 'mystery'!). That's quite wrong of me. But at least I put in the rather large amount of effort to come up with words to put in it! Wasn't easy.

I like the puzzles that have multiple layers the best. Where you have to solve something to solve something else. Most of them just come down to 'decrypt this question, then google the answer', but there are a few trickier ones.

On The House was one I think is cool, that took me at least 4 hours to make. If you've solved it, you can figure out why. I had to look up a LOT of possibilities.

One that everybody gets by guessing and half-solving that I think is cool is Hollywood Chat. I think most people don't know WHY it's cool, because they only solve the other half and guess from there. It has about 4 or 5 layers and requires multiple googles to solve 'correctly'. And sorry about the P/Q issue, seems like I should flip it since most people seem to have the other situation (vague enough?). Mine is based on reality, though, just apparently a rare reality.

I like the idea of Skater Math, but I don't think ANYONE has solved it the hard way. It's very easy to get around, unfortunately. I suppose I should've just made the score itself be the answer. Curse my need to have lots of layers! It always makes them too easy to circumvent.

It's my fault of course when the puzzles are so easy to get around instead of doing the hard way. That's the main thing I need to work on. But sometimes I fear they will be too hard. And I'm kind of addicted to embedding little clues in the images and titles.

I can't say that was a great puzzle - the idea was good, but the fact that there are too many different possibilities that you can find around the web just doesn't make the puzzle work properly, unfortunately. Could have been a great puzzle.

I don't know, I think On The House was one of my favorite puzzles. I can definitely see how it took so long. On the other hand, More Codes was just so well done that I think it is my favorite.

Whoops, that was me, I wasn't logged in.

Skater Math - I got that using the brute force method most probably tried.

I'm assuming you just have to add up the point values for the tricks that are listed, but I couldn't seem to find a list of point values. *shrug*

The puzzle I probably enjoyed the most, was #7, Counted Blocks. I've been a fan of Picross since playing Mario's Picross back on the regular gameboy. =)

Err, guess it's also known more as 'Paint by Numbers' but I know it more as picross. =P

Err, and a quick wikipedia search shows MANY names for it: "Paint by numbers are also known with many other names: Crucipixel; Edel; FigurePic; Grafilogika; Griddlers; Hanjie; Illust-Logic; Japanese Crosswords; Japanilaiset Ristikot; Japanse Puzzels; Kare Karala!; Logic Art; Logic Square; Logicolor; Logik-Puzzles; Logimage; Nonograms; Oekaki Logic; Oekaki-Mate; Paint Logic; Pic-a-Pix; Picross; Pikurosu; Pixel Puzzles; Puzzle Giapponese; Puzzle Japones; Shchor Uftor; Tsunami"

OK, saw the hint on where to find the values for Skater Math, I'm just blind - but they still don't quite add up. It's off a little bit, from the actual score, it seems, but the right answer is the closest one to the score... *shrug*

And I'll check out that link Hammered. =)

There's more than just addition to be done. You need a detailed source of info to explain all the math involved.

My favorite would have to be skater math :) because of the "relations" i have with it, being the background a ____. if you can figure what i mean by the blank, you can hopefully get a hint out of it.

The best - This one is Bacon. Even after getting to the final step - the info was not enough to accurately google. And certainly not guessable.
Finally those S's in the picture dawned on me.

Anyway looks like the one least solved - if I am not mistaken.
