In case you didn't know about this feature, I think it should be widely known. There are a bunch of websites that rely on it to show wacky things around the world. On Google Maps, you can use latitude and longitude coordinates. Just enter them in the box, like "50,50" is near the Kazakhstan border with Russia. You can get much more precise like 50.48592,50.87112 or whatever.
Just thought I'd share that, because it's fun to do, and you never know when it might come in handy.
