What I'm putting on the mySpace bulliten

Okay, this is essentially what I'm going to post in a bulliten on mySpace. (I can't seem to create a whole fan page for some stupid reason.) Let me know there's anything useful I can add in. (Oh, and you guys are welcome to cheat and copy this and use it elsewhere in advertising. )

Hamumu Software

is an independent computer software company, specializing in two kinds of games: ones to buy and free ones. (That's the most simple way to put it.) It's essentially a one-man team; Mike "Jamul" Hommel makes most of the games himself, with minor aid from the forum members and other people. (BTW, I'm writing this; he didn't tell me to say this. : P)

I must mention one thing before continuing: these are SILLY games. Not the games overall - many are very fun. But the characters, situations, and artwork are very Dumb. (And with a capital "D", that's a good thing.)

Most of the buyable games (and their demos) are in the isometric (2.5D) format, not totally 3D (sort off looking down from above at a slight angle) but using 3D models. The majority of these games follow the adventures of a guy named Bouapha (whose weaponry usually consists of red gavels/hammers) and Dr. Lunatic aka Loony (a kid who was once nice but went over to the "dark side").

The freebies are mostly from the sideways viewpoint, except for Dumb: The Game, essentially a series of mind-bending picture puzzles.

The people on the forum are very close-knit, often joking around (usually about nerd/meme stuff, like lolcats and such), and very good at helping n00bs stuck on issues. Plus (and this may be a turn-off for some of you), there's quite a strict family-friendly policy, which Jamul enforces. There's also a chatroom (although people are rarely on it ) and a place to discuss non-Hamumu games.

On a personal note, my favorite game is "Dr. Lunatic - Supreme with Cheese." The gameplay is really cool, but the best part is the WORLD EDITOR/CREATOR. Because that was included, one who purchases the game can download even MORE levels of game play (and there are 1,000 alone in the original game), and right now there are over 250 "Dr. L - SwC" add-on worlds! As Jamul writes, "Supreme may well be the only game you ever need." (Not true, but it's still incredible!)
