Problem with music..

Every level that is set to the tune of 006CavernBoss.ogg doesn't seem to want play that tune. Is there a hotfix or something for this?

Reinstall the game? You won't lose your profiles if you don't delete them before the reinstall.

I tried that. The file is there in the music directory, but the game isn't picking up on it.

Are you sure about that? I'm looking at my folder and I see "006cavesboss.ogg" - not cavernboss. There is no 006cavernboss.ogg, at least in my installation.

Hmmm... This sounds strangely familiar. When I played the boss level of Cavernous Caves, there was no music. But then it worked when I went to the editor and set the music to cavesboss.

You're right, it's "cavesboss" in the folder, but "Cavernboss" in the game. I just renamed "caves" to "Cavern" and that fixed it. I guess I'd've thought of that on my own, but now there's a thread here to say how to fix it without changing every level with the Editor.

No music from downloaded worlds work!

Ok, quick note. Some worlds actually DO use "006cavesboss", to my surprise, so I copied the "006CavernBoss" I'd just made, pasted it in another folder, renamed it "006cavesboss", then put it in the music folder, next to "006CavernBoss". Now I have one for each contingency, because I'm clever.

there should be a flag or an X or something like that next to worlds with new music.
