Short Fuse Custom Graphics

I was bored the other day so i played some short fuse...
Then i got really bored so i made some custom graphics for the game!

click to download the .rar! make sure to save it in the "short fuse" folder in your program files!

instructions:

1:
Find the folder called "graphics" and rename it to something like "copy"

2:
make a new folder and call it "graphics", put the .rar in there then extract the file

3: play the game with my custom graphics, if you ever want to get the old ones back just rename the original folder "graphics"! (you'll have to change the folder with the new sprite's name as well!).

Good job, but I think it'd be even cooler if you replaced the score numbers or the multipliers. But anyways, still a great job on what you've done so far.

i wasnt planning on changing the score numbers because they're all transparent, and that would take alot of work, but i might get to it next time i'm super bored!

indeed, although its not so much a cube-"bot"; the gray part represents the fact that you're holding a barrel, it disappears once you drop it!

Anyone know how to do this so you can have a character that isn't a square?
Every time I try it leaves a square behind him.

you'll need a program like Gimp or photoshop (others would work too, these are just the ones i know for sure) then you edit the sprite, make your modifications, then you'll have to delete the background, so instead of a white/black square its the grey and white checkerboard which signifies transparency. then you just need to save it as something that supports transparency like .PNG

hope that wasnt too confusing

Paint.NET also works, but I haven't figured out how to fill in with transparency yet; I just use the magic wand tool on the background, and then drag it out of the image instead.

Aren't the graphics stored as .BMPs? .BMPs can't handle transparency.

i checked, the normal sprites are .BMP but the ones that actually need transparency are .PNG
