U must press =24\, while holding the shift key, then U translate each symbol in2 the letter it looks most like, Xept the last 2 R 1 letter (\,). As for me, there's this 1 room that's been under construction for... ever: 4S; get, Item from the FURTUREY; 2N; 2E; 1N; 1E; 2S; 1E; use, Item from the FURTUREY; 1E; get, Smaller Barbell; 1S; 1W; 4S; get, Shiney Penny; 1E; 2S; 1W; 2S; 1E; say, toilet; 3S; use, Smaller Barbell; 2S; say, reality; 2S; say, yes; 1w; use, Ruined Axe; 2S; 1W; 1S; get, Sword; 1S; use, Sword; 1S; use, Sword; 1W; use, Shiney Penny; 1S; 1E. Can some1 plz go there & approve/disapprove it so I can continue building in that general area! PS. If Ur confused by the #L in the directions; the letter represents the direction Ur supposed 2 move (North, East, South, West), & the number represents how many spaces. |

You have to get to a map edge; The trouble is that the map edges are behind lots and lots of puzzles and trap rooms.

A suggestion that may be far too much work to implement:
Let us buy our own copy of the Maze Of Ludicrosity that we ourselves (and any system-wide admins like Jamul) can admin for some largish amount of Y$!

An MoL reminder for the people who are just getting back into making rooms... if you put in a riddle (where the player has to type something), make sure it is something that is solvable! Here are common problems I find and end up deleting otherwise enjoyable rooms for:
- utterly impossible and random (Type ZYXHSJD please) - No clue as to what you need to type in at all (if you type HOUSE here, you can go north!) - Requiring obscure knowledge without giving the player any idea of where they could get that info - Most commonly of all, a reasonable riddle with a reasonable answer... but the player would never guess the exact way you phrased the answer (What color is the sky? Answer "it is blue" as opposed to "blue"). I see this one all the time! Remember that the person playing has ONLY your question to guide them, and they have to type the exact same answer you did. So keep your answers 1 word or similar, and using the most common phrasing you can think of. Even putting in "A" or "The" at the beginning is usually too much. When "what has 4 wheels and goes vroom?" isn't correctly answered with "car", people are going to be frustrated and confused and only a few of them will come up with your planned answer of "a car". Don't be afraid to make the player have to google things, or solve an actual puzzle - just make sure you give them the clues they need to know what they need to do! |

Or head off south-west from the start, in the direction of a duck pond. If you enter a room with a troll and red gem, you're in the right place. Go west a bit, then south.
When you get to the duck pond and meet an octopus, go west again.
