Default A question about .txt files

OK, from this quote from the old "Sneak-Peek" topic, the guy answered my question about making texts in a Supreme world. I got into the users subfolder in my computer, and I found all these text files, so I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. But I just want to know--HOW can I add a .txt file?

Just make a new text file in the same folder as the other text files, and type away! Watch out though, if one line is too long, it will go past the screen in the game. One you've got your text file done, go in the game and there should be a special that let's you call up a text file. Just select a trigger and put in that effect. You can also choose the background for the text, some backgrounds have more room for text than others, such as Computer or Yerfdog. Hope this helped!

Right Click -> New -> Text Document

Edit: Alternatively, file -> save another notepad as what you want it to be, and delete all the text.

You could also just open Notepad (from the Start menu: Programs -> Accesoires), type the text and Save As... in the user folder :3

...You. Gotta. Be. Kidding.
OK, so I went to my supreme folder and opened up .txt files, right clicked "New", went to the notepad option, AND:
"Unable to Add new Text File. Access Denied."
...I hate my computer.

I'm guessing the file you were using was marked as "Read Only". Just go into properties, and un-check the box. Then, you can do whatever you want with it.

Also, be sure you're Saving As another file name, in the User folder. If you forget to make a new name, you'll completely over-write the file you just edited!

Are you using Vista and are not the admin? Vista stops you from adding or moving anything in your program files.

OKAY, First of all, i have made text files a TON of times so, now, Here is what you do: 1.Click On Start. 2. Click On Notepad. 3. Make the font BIGGER. 4. Type in what you want. 5. save it in the "user" file in "supreme" in "Program Files" in "Local Disk".
