Gruesome Gardens Maze Problem

I have seen the speedrun of LL2 and on the video only a few yellow roses sprouted up. When I play it, loads and loads of them sprout up and I can't seem to survive when there are so many.

Has anyone got any recommendations for things I could use to beat the yellow roses?

The Roses only appear when you move. I spammed Berzerk to run fastered and then stood still to regenerate mana.

Yes, this is the worst part of the game.

Yes, it's even worse than the Toy Factory.

You can also use the Red Cow potion to make you go faster. Yellow Roses will usually only come get you when you're moving, so you can also take breaks to rest before continuing to go around the circle of death. To do this I suggest putting just one skill point into Restoration so you can slowly convert your mana to health in times such as these, plus the temporary invulnarability it gives you is also very useful.
