Anyhoo, how was everyponys reaction to the last of season 2? Personally, i think it was amazing, one of the best so far. I thought that the plot line was interesting and also had a sense of mystery that you dont see a lot in MLP (MMMM any pony?). The fight scenes were awesome and i cant wait to see the internet spammed by the twilight gun. Candence was cool, SA was cool (what the, twilight has a BROTHER?) and the changelings were awesome. Pinkies back in no.1 for me after an amazing array of randomness. Oh, and did any pony see filly derpy? (no derp eyes, and a horn, but a grey body-yellow mane filly. About 36:10 when Pt1&2 are combined IIRC). So, what do you think?

EDIT: Trollestia set the whole thing up. all of it.

They could have done the pacing a lot better by cutting some parts in favor of explaining some things (~~how did the changelings capture Twilight and friends, when they were clearly winning that fight?~~ scene right after slipped my mind, whoops!). The end was a rather ridiculous Deus ex Machina (THE POWER OF LOVE GYUS), and given the two supposedly important characters came out of nowhere, the two of them saving the day wasn't as satisfying to watch as the previous two big bads' defeats. The Elements of Harmony at least contributing to the Queen's defeat would have been a better approach.

That aside, the animation crew did a fantastic job on these episodes, especially the action scenes, and the design of Queen Chrysalis and the changelings were well done.

I liked it, and want a Crysalis toyeven though I don't really like the toys.

Also, filly Derpy is Dinky, and has been around for ages. Their body is slightly purple, but the night may have made you think it was purely a shade thing.

Furthermore, DJ POn-3 has close to perfect red eyes (the nightshade did some work on them too, though) which was awesome.

It was, on the whole, so much better than I could have possibly hoped.

The finale was awesome.

I especially liked the way the Changeling queen was drawn. It looked like some kind of Phyrexian Pony, which is too epic to understand.

Did anyone notice the magic color change the first time it happened? I was the only one in my stream room that did.

The finale was awesome. It's too bad that they had to constrain it within about 40 minutes, or it would've been on par with some of the best Disney movies. The show just keeps getting better and better!

On that note, wake me up when September ends. I'll be in cryogenic sleep until new pony comes out.

Just thought I should let you guys know that the forum I go on now is doing a pony Mafia game. Which seems pretty epic. It's already got 27 people signed up, and only three slots are open. I'm Rainbow Dash there. Y'guys like ponies, y'guys like mafia, I don't see how this can go wrong.

And if anyone's interested, I just thought I should mention the fanfic I've been writing for about six months, now. I won't link to it, since it's definitely rated at least PG-13 in my books. You can probably find it for yourself if you want to. It's mostly a comedy, but with a bit of slice-of-life, romance, and some darker undertones. It's gotten on EqD, so it's at least somewhat good.

Season 3 is confirmed for November. Most likely on November 3rd, but there's really no way to tell.
