Why, all of a sudden, am I seeing an empty Command Prompt window opening behind the Windowed mode of the game (It's labeled 'Dr.Lunatic Supreme With Cheese (Windowed)', and has the 'Hammer' icon in the top left corner, rather than the Command Prompt's default 'C:\' icon)?

To future self: -mwindows is a link option, not a compile option. I've already fixed that and it'll be included in the next update, which I am planning to get to Jamul as soon as I figure out what's up with Hammered's pause menu issues.

I detected a problem.
You fixed the in-game and .flc colors. However... ![]() Images are screwed up. Even the sizes are.

Is this from an existing world or did you make it just now?

It's from "Bouapha's Halloween Experience" by Kerma.
Hence the mention of his name in the picture And the same things happen to the custom pictures in Knittel's "Prince of Hamumu" series. Though for some reason the ones in Citanul Island work fine. Maybe it's not a problem with built-in worlds...

Version 8.0c is off to Jamul! There's a few changes which warrant some explanation (Jamul ought to be posting the full list).
Square Root Operator This was mostly added by special request of Blackduck, and I'm still not sure what he actually needs it for. It's kind of tricky. Integer math means "15S" is 3, and left-to-right math means "12+4S*2" is "12 + 4, sqrt, times 2." Arctan Operator Also requested by Blackduck, this one has a lot more general usefulness, especially with Spawn Bullet. It's a two-argument operator like R or T. It returns a facing value from 0-255 based on the Y delta and X delta passed as parameters in that order. Here's an example of using it to create a water cannon that tracks Bouapha: ![]() In this case, V0 is the positive or negative Y distance Bouapha is from the water source, V1 is the positive or negative X distance Bouapha is from the water source, and V0AV1 is the facing. If both parameters to Arctan are 0, it will return 0 (straight right). The result of Arctan can be divided by 32 for 8-facing bullets, though you'll probably want to tweak the result a bit. Linux Support A bunch of code's been refactored to make Supreme run on Linux, though I've done fairly little testing and there's indubitably lots of kinks to work out. If you want to try it out yourself let me know.

If I get the 8.0c version will my computer erase all my saved work from the 8.0b version? It happened last time though I really had nothing to lose then.

As long as you install in the same directory, nothing should be lost.

Doing Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Start Task Manager -> going back into supreme -> fixes it, and shows the login screen. But then when you try to type something, it makes the type-a-letter noise, but doesn't show any letters. Let's say you type in Bob. You hear 3 type-noises, but nothing shows up. Then if you do [Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Start Task Manager -> Go back to Supreme], it shows Bob.

Really odd bug here.
![]() I am using a special to summon a buddy bot. He is good. i then use a different special to tag the buddybot then summon a random facing good hammer every second. If the hammer faces right, it looks odd. Ive added as much info as i can think of and ive tried it in different situations, none of which make a funny hammer. Also, cookies to the person who can think of what i might be making in this level :P

Are you using right as 0 or 8? Because I'm pretty sure it should be 0.

Yeah, i think right is 0. I used 0R8 as the direction (a number from 0 to 8, randomly made).
Edit: Wow. I set the direction to 0R7 and it was fixed, however, i wanted to check what was wrong in the first place so i set it to 0R20. rather than summoning hammers in a random direction, it would summon random bullets in a random direction. Madness! it seems that the grey thing was one of these random bullets. Im fairly certain this isnt meant to happen.

Odd none the less. the missile will "rotate" like a hammer. If you set it to something like 0R50, you can summon some really odd stuff. Bullets will change type in midair ect.

The hammer pulls its graphic from the JSP using a fixed offset plus its facing. When its facing is 8 or higher, it pulls sprites from later in the JSP than it should. It still acts like a normal hammer.
