Anyone remember the territory-grabbing min-game in Patchwork Quilt? I've found a free, more adaptable version:

There are a few versions of that game around the web. I was trying to approximate it, but, of course, it was pretty difficult with the limited commands available to me, as it wasn't really possible to have the opposing player be smart, so he just had to be random. My favorite of these games that I have found is called Filler. It has nice graphics. It isn't free, but you can find a one hour demo around on several websites.

Hmmm. Not sure about it. I found the AI too good.
