Very Dumb: Help needed

hello inhabitents of this hamumu forum. I am new to this whole procedure, so tips are helpful. But I am a total LL2 junkie in need of help. I have a few questions.
1. What do you recomend I store in my mimic?
2. I need a fast way to make money, any ideas?
3. What are artifacts? Keep in mind, I haven't whooped Baron's keester.
4. What is the formula for Dr. Deflector? (Herbs)
5. What skills should I level up to make me take less damage?

ANY TIPS POSTED ARE MUCH APPRECIATED

1. Anything that can be used in junksmithing/clockworking and equipment with +2 to skills
2. The Arena
3. They are powerful pieces of equipment that you can get after beating madcap
4. Asbestos, Cilantro, and Elderberry
5. Defense, Toughness, Endurance, Dodge, Parry (if you swing axes), Restoration (it doesn't make you take less damage, but it heals)

And gives temporary invincibility.

Artifacts can be earned anytime, not just madcap. Artifacts are super-rare ultra-items. Madcap does give a 2nd way to find them, though.

Artifacts aren't madcap-only; Only AJ is madcap-only.

1. As said before you normally keep stuff that you will need for later like lens and junk +2nd rate items if you want to melt them together to get achievments
2. Eau de Monster and Luckenbrau, Use eau de monstre before you go in a map Then kill some of the enemies you can find and when your eau de monstre runs out you luckenbrau then kill the rest of the thousands of the enemies and you'll be rich (try and have as empty a inventory as possible you get A LOT)
3. Are green items that for most of them are strong but rarer, There are also more common artifacts like parachute parka that just makes that you don't get hurt when jumping off cliffs For getting artifacts I recommend waiting t'il madcap because in madcap you have a higher chance of getting items(so you get some from enemies) and you kill Artifact Jack to get artifact bits to give to Woody (1rst time you need 3 and the rest you need 5) But watch out their strong
4. Asbestos, Cilantro, Elderberry I recommend this potion if you in madcap because it reflects Artifact Jack's attacks so he kills himeself
5. Mostly passive skill but also wind spells are good like gale that pushes enemies and projectiles away or tornado that gets them trapped and pushed away for a bit.

I keep Lenses in my Mimic until I get a better combination then I had before.

I recommend keeping crafting stuff (herbs, junk items, mined things) with you, rather than in your mimic, because you tend to get them regularly, so they'd take-up inventory space anyway. My lenses all go in the mimic though.
