Happyponygate Boss Contest!

Chocolate Bunny It streams out chocolate sauce or balls from his mouth similar to Richie Lich opening its mouth and streaming the green beam. All this while launching chocolate bombs from its ears. It is big and brown. It triggers every 20 seconds. In the boss area, it has little hatching bunny eggs that are smaller but attack as well, called "Bunny Hoppers".

Huggy Bear A huge bear that has wide arms and squeezes you when you get near.

Polly the Pony It makes windy weather by spinning its tail. The wind blows Bouapha on his back when the "wind" gets him.and Bouapha bumps into the horse.

Spicy Snuggleit is a chile pepper.He has hearts all around his body.He shoots salsa out,every 32 seconds and kisses you.

I 'happy'its like a Ipod but it has a HUGE smile and two eyes.It plays 5 different songs. It hurts you when you sounds shock waves come out. It sends out I pod minis.He presses random buttons and if he presses the play button he plays the music. If he presses pause, he pauses the music. He has 2 hands.


Reper ManHe is a red wolf. There are red and blue strips on the floor. He jumps [only on red floor]and he jumps really really high and he tackles you when he comes down. And he bites you every 30 seconds.


blue blue jayit's a blue jay. that fly's up high in the air and hurts you by swooping down. and pecks on you every 25 seconds.


Candle Cakeit is a cake. There is 2 candles for the mouth. And 7 candles for the mouth. And it shoots out candles with ice cream on it.

Anyways, here's something I threw together a couple days ago.

Guru Teddy or Teddy Genie or something to that effect - See the pic.



He floats around on the wavy carpet, never really moving from that position. (He might blink, though.)

Weapons/Attacks - I think Teddy might either shoot liquid or laser-like
honey from his stubs-for-hands. Or he might have a pot of yellowish goo by his side, which he could dip his stubble in and fling the honey at Bwah-fah.

Tom Cruise -



This man has too much happiness! For pictures, all he ever does is smile! It's getting in the way of his acting ability!

Weaponry/Attacks - Tom has several ways of fending off people. In the game, most of the time he's jumping up and down on his couch. The bouncing creates shockwaves in all directions, which push Bouapha back as well as hurt him, of course. The words of Tom's crazy (and indecipherable) shouting become visible at times and come at a moderate rate towards Bouapha, which he has to dodge. Also, his teeth are so white, that the reflection can become a laser that can blind and zap Bouapha. Lastly, every once in a while, Tom gets off his couch to try to use one of those Scientological electronic devices to check Bouapha's body thetan level. Bouapha is forced to run away at this point, until Tom gives up and goes back to bouncing on his couch.

It's the Shogun of the Ninjabreads. He's chocolatey. He's probably just a big ninjabread man that hurls tons of cookie cutters (his version of ninja stars).

Unicandycorn: A unicorn that shoots candy corn at bouapha. It looks like a happy pony with legs that resemble candy corn and a horn on its head that also resembles candy corn.

Black pudding: A pudding pot, but, as a black pudding is made of blood, this thing FEEDS on blood!

EDIT: Oh, yeah, a last minute entry- I think I already mentioned Guyablo.

The Prime Goodnesses
It's like the Prime Evils of Diablo 2, only good. There's Mallowphisto, Lord of Love and Master of Mallow Men, who does snuggle attacks and is a marshmallow monster. There's Guyablo, Lord of Bravery and Master of Gumdrop Guys, who does sweet attacks and gives some beneficial effect called Bravery to nearby buddies. Then there's Soccer Baal, Lord of Construction, who rolls around building Toy Turrets. I don't really like the last name, but I couldn't think of a better parody of Diablo 2's Baal.

DOUBLE-EDIT: Oh, yeah, change that to ''GumBaal''.

So, let's have some results. As usual, judging the contest was incredibly tough (just reading through so many pages of bosses took quite a while itself!). Here are the runner-ups:

Varkarrus gets a runner-up spot for Snuggleophagus - obviously that will be in the game, but he knew that since he already won on that basis in the previous contest! So definitely not a winner this time, but it will be there. It will actually be called Snuggleupagus, however. Hopefully you can see the improvement that subtly adds!

THE FINALISTS

Hey, nobody wants the game's surprises ruined! Okay, you do, but I don't. Luckily, I can announce the winners without really giving away too much, since most people submitted dozens of ideas. I will PM the winners with details on what I am borrowing from them. They may keep the secret or spread it around if they like.

These people each get 20YB for their submission which may end up in the game partially. For some, it's the name I want to steal, for others, it is some part of the description/behavior I am intrigued by, and I will be working it into a boss of my own design. And I may not actually use their stuff at all, but I am definitely interested in doing so. And if I do, they will surely be credited accordingly. And so, here are the finalists!

...All I can say is that if I entered this, I would've given up IMMEDIATLEY after CTCF. I mean, just LOOK at it. It's brilliant.
