I'm about 3 1/2 years too late to be cool, but I'm planning on buying Half-Life 2 this Wednesday evening, which will give me something to do over midterm break. Thanks to the Onion, I'm now with the Hamumuians on Steam.
Discussion? Maybe. I just felt like announcing myself.

Got Synergy. Originally, I thought you could play through the Half-Life 2 storyline with another person, but I'm not sure if that's true anymore. Explanation?
Also, what exactly happens in Zombie Panic! I think I saw an article or ?youTube? clip about it, where a guy ends up killing his buds in the process of killing the zombies, or something like that...

There are two kinds (as far as I know, I've had the game for almost a week) of game modes: Objective and Survival. There are also two teams, Survivors (AKA Humans, or Alive), and Zombies (AKA Dead). In the beginning of a game, you choose which side to join, which affects what you do. Map selection works like Team Fortress 2, if you know anything about how that happens. If not, Google is your friend.
There is far too much stuff to explain (I like to go into mass detail, see), but basically, if you die as a Survivor, you become a Zombie.

Well, my friend's car broke down yesterday, so I wasn't able to get it.

Huzzah! Success! (Mostly) I have HL2 and it works, but it was a pain to get to work. I guess I had some corrupt Source files or something, and then the disk wouldn't start up in one drive, and then the monitor shut off as soon as the loading screen got done (so I had to mess with the settings), but it finally works. I still wish I had my ATI card, though...

It's at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/hamumians. If you tell me your Steam username, I can invite you to it. We don't do much; it's just a collection of Hamumu people, and probably some people who've left, as the Steam names confuse me.
