Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Two dumb teenagers, who also happen to be WYLD STALLIONS!, are about to fail their big history report and fail class, thus stopping the world from becoming a great utopia ruled by them in the future. A mysterious man gives them a time machine. Hilarity ensues.

Why isn't the best movie ever created listed here?
JURASSIC PARK. Oh, and I guess for the sake of really old movies (black and white ones), I'll say that At War With the Army is a good bit of fun.

Not me. But pretty much anything by Pixar is good, except the Cars movie and the Ratatouille one which I didn't even bother to see. Monsters Inc. was brilliant, Finding Nemo excellent, The Incredibles was incredible, and Wall-E was quite entertaining. The new one coming out sometime with the mean old man looks like it will be pretty funny too.
Pretty much my favourite comedy is What's Up Doc. Very funny and silly stuff.

Edward Scissorhands, released 1990, just comes into your 'old' category I think. It's very basically an alternate version of Frankenstein... except incredibly weird and awesome. He has scissors for hands! And so he becomes a hairdresser, and gardener.

Also in the "I watched this a long time ago but I think I liked it" category is Powder. ...The Green Mile is hands down the best old movie ever. Gone With The Wind is also sort of good, but a little boring. |

That was a good period for comedy movies, the mid to late seventies. Woody Allen did pretty much all of his funniest stuff then, the high point being Manhattan, and my favourite of his comedies being Sleeper. It's a bit adult for the average Hamumian, but when you're ready (18 min), check it out.
