I'm very depressed right now

First of all, I used to go on a site called Bonus.com. It was a free games for kids site, but then in 2006 they turned into a weird facebooky type site under the same name and same company, and it was still aimed for kids. Try to go there today and you will find this site that sells anything for discount prices, and no trace of the game for kids site, not even a trace of the company. Bonus was now only known to people who had been there from 1997.

Bonus was known for it's AWESOME quirky and sometimes downright weird games that you could probably only find there. It was most famous for it's MMO game Battlefield I and II, but III ultimately killed the company due to it being nothing like the original.

Battlefield I

Everybody loved battlefield I, except for bonus who kicked it off the site onto www.Playbattlefield.com, and that site is now deleted too.

Then with the help of atkins posting the wayback machine, I snapped my fingers and with an Idea I shouted WAYBACK!

NO LINKS WORK (cept the 1996 and 1997, 1996 bonus wasn't even open and 1997 had little to no games)

and I come back here to cheer up, and Vark is banned for life.

So I'm depressed.

ALSO: if anyone else remembers Bonus, I'm looking for a game where you were an alien in a 2d game and went into different levels and you pushed boulders around (and they could fall on you) and collected pearls. I think it was called "ROOMS".

My past week has been very emotionally topsy-turvy, love-ish wise. It's been great, it's been miserable, it's been WEIRD ... and as usual I only got about 5 hours of sleep per night, so thank goodness for the weekend.

I think our generation is going to go down in flames if we don't start realizing what's really important and how what we do affects others and even ourselves. Heck, sometimes even I don't realize it, but I'm trying harder.

It's interesting: depression is almost like a cycle. You might give in to self-pity, listen to angry music to fuel the rage/make yourself feel better [or play video games],
and so on and so forth until somebody does something really special for you to boost your self-esteem. Then, pretty soon you've forgotton it and sink back down. Or nothing seems to go right, so the cycle occurs [with the rage just building up] until you get drastic for attention and [heaven forbid] go on a shooting rampage ... or, of course, something much less drastic.

I may be a bit off; I'm just thinking in writing. Feel free to *********

Well in my condition you are way off, I've never gone in a rage after I get really depressed and angry but this time I've definately had enough and I don't think I can take it anymore, if my life continues on like this I may even not live to be 18. Nobody does nice things for me and they act like they hate me and I've stopped caring but now I've finally cracked and I'm going mad, I've got no happiness whatsover, nothing is making me feel happy right now, not even posting! Aaah! I'm gonna die this way!

*Gives a Y$* Well, remember that when you get old enough [and adult] you can choose what you want to do, and that means choosing to do things that bring joy to your life. And try "doing unto others as you would have them do unto you" - do some kind stuff for people instead of waiting for them to be kind to you. Volunteer work, even, if you can find the time.

EDIT: Here's another way [albeit less pleasant] way to look at it: do you really want to just become another suicide statistic?

I know how you feel, I've been feeling like that a lot (until somewhat recently). The best way to endure something like this is reminding yourself that the situation is probably not going to stay this way, there's always going to be positive events in life. Don't think too much about the "now" if you're experiencing troubles like that, think about the future, what comes after the bad times. "Miracles" can happen, sometimes you need to do something yourself to make them happen, and then it's all going to improve. Just don't lose hope; most of your life is still ahead of you.
