Dumb Dare Hosting Signups

If you want to host a Dumb Dare contest, this is where you need to post. The only requirement is that you have created a game for a previous Dumb Dare. If the game didn't make the deadline, you need to either post a link here or email it to me at creativegames@comcast.net.

Rules for DD Contests:
All contests need to have a theme. When you sign up, do NOT post the theme. Reveal the theme only when the contest starts.

All games should be rated in the following categories:
Theme
Gameplay
Orginality/Creativity
Resources (Graphics/Sound)

You may add a 5th catagory of your choice if you wish. The rating scale you want to use is up to you. Offering YBs for ratings is optional.

All contests should have some sort of prize. This is a contest after all! If you are giving YBs for ratings, then you don't need to include a large prize. What I did was give 1 YB per 2 stars and gave the winner in the voting portion an extra 5YBs, 2nd Place an extra 3YBs, and 3rd an extra 1YB. How you want to do the prizes is up to you.

I will be running DD#4. Anybody can have their name on the list only twice at a given time. This will most likely change when more members are able to host.

Due to a total lack of hosting signups, the requirement for DD hosting is that you have created a game before. Post a link to the game if you want to sign up to host. Alternatively, you can send a link to me via PM, or you can email a copy of the game to me at creativegames@comcast.net.

Please sign up- I simply cannot run every single DD by myself. I only have so many Yerfbucks after all!

you could always find something else to give as a prize (that or make a few yerfbucks before it's your turn to host, because it might take awhile :P )

After seeing Ufo-Man's signup, I realized that having Game Development experience isn't absolutly nessicary to host a DD. If you have prior hosting experience, you should do find. I'm going to allow Ufo's signup, and if his DD goes well, the hosting rules will be amended so that anybody who has made a game and/or hosted mafia or a similar forum game will be able to sign up.

It isn't required that the prize is YB's the only prize-related requirement is that you have a prize of some type. Although YBs are probaly the easiest way to offer a prize, you don't have to offer them as a prize.

The rule has not been amended yet, and I haven't seen you host a game on Hamumu at all. I'll add you to the list, but you will be removed if I decide not to amend the rule or if you don't show proof of hosting.

DD6's voting thread should be up soon, and I'm currently playing the entries for the ratings. I was without internet this last weekend, so I'm a little behind on that. Sorry.
