I'm going to use this to post updates on a 2-D platform game I'm creating. I'm using JumpCraft, and I'll hopefully finish it. It's not a large chance, but it exists.
The name of my game is Bounds And Leaps, and I'll post again once I download JumpCraft and get the basics of my game down. Edit: Well, I was going to use jumpcraft and share it with everyone, but I have to buy the premium edition of jumpcraft to distribute games I make with it. Any other good 2d game-making engines? Well, you can use Game Maker. It's not specifically for platformers, but there are a couple platformer tutorials floating around the web.

^Now that I just Google searched that, it appears to be a 2D platform game engine. I like that name. The tiles on the website's background look like they came from the Game Maker platform tutorial. JumpCraft looks very useful to me.
