I have funny cheats for it but i lost them
there are funny cheats like

theres this one that makes your trooper into a car and he can
run over stuff

and you can also change a trooper into a monkey that can kill any
thing in its path!

I prefer not to cheat either, but I love a good COBRA every now and again. Oh, and I put Age of Mythology on hold for now... The new expansion pack for Uru: Ages Beyond Myst is coming out. I am excited. Can't you just tell how excited I am. Yippee.

Seriously though, it looks awesome. Anybody else like any of the Myst games? Although maybe this is a subject for a new topic.

Microsoft is teaming up with Nintendo to make AoE II for DS?!?!?!?!?!

probably not. my guess is that microsoft just publishes the game, and another company develops it. that company therefore would team up with nintendo to port it to the DS.

Yeah. It's supposed to come out late fall this year. But I don't think Microsoft is teaming up with Nintendo. That has had very little chance ever since Microsoft tried and failed at buying out Nintendo.

Anyhoo, I pwn at AoEII!! :P Sometimes I totally get flushed though, especially with those enemies who like to rush constantly!

I have developed a good strategy against that though, I send about 10 villagers off to make two separate bases elsewhere!

I do that often, it's quite evil I know!

Yeah, the expansion is great. I like getting to be friendly with all other factions, then getting a Titan and and sending all of your best troops inside one of your enemy's walls, then switching to enemy with him, destroying him, and doing that with all the others until you win. It's pretty funny, because they had like five soldiers last time I tried it.

I don't like the The Titans that much, it has more or less turned the into a race to the titan age, whoever gets a titan first has almost won... And that whole Atlantis thing is stupid, as it's not as if the Atlantians had their own mythology or anything; the Atlantian's (myth) units consitst of made up stuff and any Greek characters which the Greeks didn't get. And they portrait Argus as a floating tentacle blob that, even though it's floating, can't cross water... And they have robots! X_X

There are 2 subjects to this post- mods for AOE (any of them) and a fun way to play.

I've found some good mods for Age of Kings. One I have turns the Celtic wonder into stonehenge. Then there are the new random map types, like city on the lake, where most of the gold/stone is on an ancient city in the middle of the lake. I also found a scenario that is an exact replica of the attack on the Alamo. I could post a link to the site where I got these if anyone's interested.

A way of play for me recently is to put 8 players on a map that's meant for 2 (tiny), and begin in the Imperial Age with everything researched. It gets hectic fast. One time, I was building a castle, and some enemy villagers attacked! it's even worse when the spanish are near you, since the Supremacy technology makes their villagers super-strong.
