Default Trouble with Deja Vu

Well anyways i was playing the newer world deja vu, and was getting at it pretty well but one of the levels in the icy mountains, the one near the ice cube. and the game won't let me into any of the other levels. Is this a bug!?

I don't think so - but I have a question - are you perhaps getting a message that says "No longer equipped with your handy grappling hook, you fall to your death?" If so, might that be the reason that you are unable to return to the other levels?

Are you sure you have the latest patch, and, if so, do you have the grappling hook equipped? If that doesn't work, then you are not where I think you are and you will need to send the exact name of the level that you are in to figure it out.

I'm just wondering.. Did you make deja vu with 7.6 or 7.7 beta?

I think it was 7.4 actually.

That would be nice, but some people do not download the patches unless they are told to, and 7.43 was the standard for a long time.

7.43 is currently the version you get if you order Supreme via direct download (I just had to redownload because of a hard drive switch). I wonder why the full installer isn't updated with the very latest patch version, especially since there is very little indication to a new user that patches are ever available.

Two words: dial up.

I will be putting up 7.7 though.

Ouch, forgot about that. How long does it normally take? I'm guessing 6 hours if you're close to the standard maximum rate. That shouldn't be so bad if you leave it running overnight, except in cases of stringent rate limits or random disconnects.

It took me around 8-10 hours to download Supreme, I think. I wonder how many calls we missed that day.
