Default Problem with Rafting

I have a level with six monsters, Lunachick, an Evil Clone in a green shirt with the Bouapha AI, a red Shroomlord with the Boupha AI, a red MechaBouapha with the Bouapha AI, a Happy Stick Man with the Bouapha AI, and a Dr. Lunatic with the Bouapha AI. I have two rafts in the level and I want to be able to transport the lot of them across the river. Of course, they will have to take turns, but that's not the problem. The problem is that only LunaChick (the real Bouapha, if you will) can ride the raft. The others all walk out onto the raft and drown.

I know that all of the monsters really do have the Bouapha SI, because the arrow keys drive all of them around the screen, and I know that the Rafts are really Rafts, because Lunachick can ride either of them.

I know that a single monster with the Bouapha AI can ride a raft (as proven by Lefty riding out of the level in the Spampyre State Building in Spamumu), so the question is: Is this like the weapons fire thing that works funny if you have multiple Bouaphas in a level or is it a bug - I can send the world if you would like to see it.

Anything goes once you have more than one Bouapha. The game was never designed to allow that, so I don't have any official rules on what should or shouldn't happen (except no crashes, I hope). If that's how it works, then that's how it works!

One way to solve this would be to have two specials in the tile in front of the raft. The specials would contain the following triggers/effects:

If [Player] steps [(Enter special location here)]
Uses: [Unlimited]
Teleport [Player] to [Enter exit location here]
If this does not help I don't know what can.

Of course teleporting would work, but it wouldn't look like rafting; it would look like teleporting.

Would it maybe be possible to only have one of them with boupha's AI at a time? Like maybe set it up so that when you are done with one of them, it moves you to control the next and destroyes the previous one (or just sets the AI to non boupha).

Or maybe you could make some rail tiles that look like water and replace the raft with a mine cart?
