Default SpaceBoy Recipe List

Proof that I had nothing else to do today:

R - Rubidium
G - Chlorophyx
B - Saphrin
P - Purplex
M - Titanium

MMM - Scanner. Utility that gives you some basic info about enemies you hit
MMR - Slug Launcher. Primary Weapon that fires yellow bullets. You start out with one of these.
MMG - Pulse Laser. Secondary Weapon that fires strong lasers occasionally
MMB - On Board Refinery. Utility that gives you elements for every 9 pieces you collect instead of every 10.
MRR - AutoCannon. Primary Weapon that fires small orange bullets really quickly.
MRG - Triple Blaster. Primary Weapon that fires three purple bullets at the same time.
MRB - Destructo Missle. Secondary Weapon that fires missles every so often.
RRP - Minelayer. Secondary Weapon that makes stationary mines appear behind you.
RGG - Ion Tank. Utility that lets you hold up to 4 stored Hyper Beams instead of 2
RGB - Booster. Utility that makes you faster.
RGP - Homing Missle. Secondary Weapon that fires missles. However, these missles automatically go for enemies.
RBB - Auto Turret. Secondary Weapon that firest small orange bullets at enemies. Self-aiming.
GGG - Gear Wing. Secondary Weapon that appears as a blue ship. It has a Slug Launcher and fires when you fire.
GGB - Plasma Wave. Primary Weapon that shoots green cresents. The cresents also continue to move even after they hit something.
GBB - Solar Collector. Utility that slowly refills your Hyper Beam.

Note: You can't actually get any Purplex in the game unless you find a way to edit what the ships drop.

Hyper Beam types:

Ultimate Cannon (<v>): A Hyper Beam that lasts longer.
Missle Barrage (><>): Fires a lot of missles.
EMP Burst (>v<): Freezes enemies.
Pheonix Flash (v>^): Makes you invicible for a little while.
Mirror Assult (v^v): The same as Hyper Beam

Thanks to Nebro-Gubular SpisBoy for the Hyper Beam controls and some name clarifications. (Apparently, I though "mirror assult" was "minor assult")

There are also two other beams that fire just like the Hyper Beam, only with special names. I'll try and find those sometime.

That's All!

About the hyper beam types:
The text introduction says that there are only 4 alternate versions of hyper beams. Here is what I found:
EMP Burst ^>v< Freezes Enemies
Ultimate Cannon ^<v> Bigger hyper cannon
Mirror Assault ^v^v I don't know what it does
Missile Barrage <><> Shoots a bunch of homing missiles

(I just downloaded the demo recently, so I might have a different version than you)

That explans my "weak beam"! I think I saw "mirror assult" as "minor assult"
Apparently, there are only four alternate beams that work. There are three more that were "dummied out" and only display different names. Mirror Assult must be one of those.
I really wish this game came with source code. That way I might actually be able to finish it!

Big Discovery! Hyper Cannons only check the last three movements, not four. So <><> becomes ><>. This will certainly make it easier to find them all!

The correct way to execute Phoenix Flash is Left, Down, Right, Up.

Actually, like in Street fighter, or other similar games with such combos, the more complicated the special move, the more complicated the activation combo. I got Ultimate Cannon to work with Down, Right.
