Official Thread of hints for #47 - Dependency...
VERY well made puzzle! I enjoyed working through it. Background is well chosen, graphics are well chosen, numbers are well chosen... All in all, very nice! A hint? Do you recognize the background? Can you find what the emblems represent? Put two and two together!  R! |

The background lead me to the quick solution (e.g. what to google for) to find the right answer. Agreed this is a good puzzle for Dumb.

I found Wikipedia to be the deciding factor in this, especially with the choice of pictures.

The background image was a little hard to make out, but once I got it, Wikipedia provided the answer.

confused
What is it exactly you guys recognize in the background image?
I found out what symbols mean but can't think about anything what relates that information to the numbers on the right side of the picture. |

finally
Just did it.
And I solved it in way how Jamul intended it to be solved. [something weird and maybe spoilery (?) removed] What I still don't undestand is how background image can help to solve this puzzle. Even after solving it I don't know what it means. Please, PM that to me or my curioucity will kill me.

Easiest one yet
Some puzzles just pop out at you and say...here's the answer. This one I just looked at the background then assumed what the numbers were and googled...I was right
, I'm sure the other pictures and numbers are useful as well if you don't get it this way.

I don't know anything except the background. It is quite a trademark image, that is, if you can recognise it. I solved everything from there.

This was a good one! The background image was definitely the key for me. The numbers were also fairly revealing once you get the idea of what the theme is.

I am very lost, very lost !!!! Please give me a clue ??? I can't decipher the background image, I may know what the numbers mean but they don't relate to the pictures at all . . so that doesn't make sense . .

Ignore the background image. If you don't get it , you won't.The numbers DO relate to the emblems.They are an important part of what the puzzle is about.Start by looking up one of the emblems in wikipedia, when you know what one is you should find what the others are and how the numbers apply.

HELP! Every1 seems to get it and i recognize the background image and the emblems, but the numbers dont make any sense! I've tried [lots of stuff that could be spoilers] but NOTHING IS WORKING!!! Help!

Hello lovely, helpful people.
I figured out what each of the visuals represents, and can't make out the background image at all. I know the title will be significant, and have been through several possibilities for the numbers, but obviously am not hitting on the right one... Any suggestions? |
