Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. So, since 2011, I have spent the entire month of October every year reviewing a horror movie each day. I've changed formats many times over the years, and in the past few years, I've even been joined by my wife Solee, as well as the occasional guest. We've got text, drawings, video reviews, audio reviews... we got it all! Wanna check out our reviews? Look below, or use the menu to the left to dig deeper!
For our grand finale this month, we scooped up the entire rest of the Bad Ben films: Steelmanville Road, Badder Ben, Bad Ben: The Mandela Effect, and the latest release, The Crescent Moon Clown. It's not just a podcast, it's a Quadcast! How do they compare to the original which garnered an astounding 5 Spooky Haunted Baby Toys from our resident critic? Let's find out.
Also of note: There are 2 more podcasts to come in this series before we fully finish the month. First, we're doing our yearly wrap-up, where we figure out what we've learned from these 35 horrific visages. Then the true grand finale is that today, as is Halloween tradition (since last year), I'll be watching as many horror movies as I can in a single day (I got 9 done last year, hope to beat it!), and I'll do one quick review covering them all.
Happy Halloween everybody! May it be the Best Halloween Ever!
2018 is over! Or at least the part of it worth mentioning is. Did you know we got ZERO trick-or-treaters last night? I have to eat all my own candy. But here's our penultimate podcast for the year - a wrap up and analysis of the overall picture of horror movies in 2018. At least, the ones we watched anyway.
Tomorrow I will bring you one final adventure: reviews of the 9 movies we watched all day on Halloween! My favorite, and most back-breaking, tradition.
It's a Halloween tradition! I laid on the couch and watched movies for the ENTIRE DAY. Hear my spoilerrific reviews for 9 horror films: The Hunted (2014), The Horror Network (2015), Malevolent (2018), Truth or Dare (2017), Tragedy Girls (2017), Darkness (2004), Island bZero (2018), Seven In Heaven (2018), and The Devil's Candy (2017). We even roped in Solee for a couple of them.
That's it folks! The end of the entire Halloween month of movies. I'm always so sad to see it go, and yet so happy to not have to spend 5 hours of my day (or all of it, in Halloween's case... plus a couple hours the next day!) working on this project. Whatever will I do with my time now? Make a game!?
