Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. So, since 2011, I have spent the entire month of October every year reviewing a horror movie each day. I've changed formats many times over the years, and in the past few years, I've even been joined by my wife Solee, as well as the occasional guest. We've got text, drawings, video reviews, audio reviews... we got it all! Wanna check out our reviews? Look below, or use the menu to the left to dig deeper!
Three movies in and we've still managed to avoid a single possessed car, with The Toybox (2018). It's not about a toy box, though. That's not a vehicle.
Haha, 100% no cars! Road Train (2010) is our final possessed vehicle movie for the month, and it's about a... road train. That's an Aussie term, which just means semi truck hauling 2 or more trailers. Educational content!
It's that spooky time of year again! The time when I watch movie after movie all day long! However, in order to actually release it on Halloween, I did one movie a day for a while instead. It's the Halloween Roundup! And of course, there are no spoilers in a Halloween Roundup. So hear our takes on... Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018), The Lost Footage of Leah Sullivan (2018), Death of a Vlogger (2019), Deadware (2021), The Empty Man (2020), They're Watching (2016), Willow Creek (2013), Cropsey (2009), The Boogeyman (2023), Be My Cat: A Film For Anne (2015), and of course it wouldn't be a Halloween Roundup without... Halloween (2007)!
Yeah, sometimes we get a non-horror movie. This time, though, it's a depressing drama rather than some kind of sci-fi action flick, with We're All Going To The World's Fair (2021).
In this grand finale to our 2023 season, we ask: Should you run away from Run Sweetheart Run (2022), or run to your TV and punch it in? We are here to give you much-needed direction. Listen!
And we will see you back here in 2024. Time for a much-needed nap after all that running (and editing).
